How to migrate your contacts from Iphone to Android from icloud

Things You need

• A laptop
• An icloud account that has a backup of your contacts 
• A gmail account. (if you do not have one, just create one.. because android requires it anyway)

Steps

1. Login to icloud.com
2. Click on contacts ... You should see a couple hundred or so contacts here.
3. Select all the contacts ( Click the first name then hold SHIFT and click the last). The select contacts should be shown in the right panel.
4. In the left panel, click on the "gear" icon and select "Export VCARD". You should see a file being downloaded.
5. login to your Gmail account then go to the website https://www.google.com/contacts/#contacts
6. Click More -> Import 
7. Choose File that was downloaded from icloud.com 

Your contacts should be listed in google contacts.

When seteting up you new android, use the same gmail account and sync contacts.
You should see all your contacts on your new phone
